PAUL SIDDOWAY, MD

About Me

I was raised in Sidney, Montana and was attracted to the medical field at an early age, heavily influenced by my mom's career as a Registered Nurse and my father's passion for learning and research. I graduated from Carroll College in 1979 and was one of the fortunate students to be accepted into the WAMI program and completed my degree at the University of Washington in 1983. The next step brought me to Baltimore, Maryland and completion of an Internal Medicine Residency at Franklin Square Hospital in 1983.

My father passed away far too young from undetected Coronary Artery Disease progression, and I decided to make the detection, prevention, and treatment of Heart Disease, my number one professional goal, in addition to primary care of adults. I was able to obtain special training in Stress Testing and Echocardiography in Baltimore and was able to bring this knowledge back to Montana to start practice in Internal Medicine and Non-Invasive Cardiology.

I chose Butte because it was raw, medically underserved, filled with people of character and charm, and is within 5 minutes of the best that Montana has to offer. Not to mention, my lifelong attraction to trout streams and the desire to make the Big Hole River our family's homewater. It has been a special privilege to raise my 3 children in Southwest Montana and provide personalized care to the wonderful people of Butte and neighboring communities.
