About Me
I have always had a tremendous passion and love for Nursing and providing care to people. As the Medallion Hospice Care Director at Easterseals-Goodwill, our promise is that your care is our first concern. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of medical, emotional, spiritual, social, and practical care for people living with a terminal illness and limited life expectancy. We understand that our patient’s dignity and quality of life are of the utmost importance and our goal is to provide compassionate care, support and symptom management to the patient and their family in their home or where ever they currently reside.
Sherrie has worked in nursing in Great Falls for the past 13 years, and that career prepared her perfectly for her position at Medallion Hospice, which embraces her commitment to patient care and patient choice. In the nursing profession, she worked her way up into management, where she broadened her impact on patients’ lives through setting standards for customer service, goal-setting, and measuring outcomes.
Sherrie’s passion for hospice patients and their families is transparent and genuine. After a loss, families express gratitude and a sense of peace, knowing Sherrie did everything she could to ensure their loved one was as comfortable as possible and the family members were prepared. Recently, a family member said of the experience, “I can’t believe how easy Sherrie made this incredibly tough time for my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Sherrie views the primary goal of her job as “helping people die in comfort and peace.” When a loved one chooses Medallion Hospice care, Sherrie and her staff deliver unstinting affection, education and comfort in the patient’s home.
